- Is the check optional? No, Confirmation of Payee has been formulated by Pay.UK in order to adhere to UK legislation. How quickly is the check made once a payment has been requested? As you input the account details, the check is made in real-time before the payment is formally requested.
- Cheque negotiation lets you use the money before the cheque has cleared. The amount is usually paid into the account on the third working day after you pay in the cheque (but may sometimes take longer because of public holidays or postal delays). There’s a fee, which depends on the cheque amount.
Can I post you a cheque to pay into my International Bank Account?
Yes. Please send cheques with a completed paying in slip to us.
If you do not have a paying in slip , please write the sort code and account number of the account you wish to credit on the back of the cheque.
